One moment you’re at peace inside an ancient shrine and the next you’re on a bustling neon-lit street. Together, we’re experiencing it all. You’re getting an exclusive look at the many faces of the buzzing metropolis. We’ll see (and taste) Tokyo from the perspective of locals, including a small but lively community of Black residents. Day 1
Welcome to Tokyo! Hop on our private shuttle to our incredible boutique hotel. Later we’ll take a stroll through the heart of Tokyo to a truly Japanese-style welcome dinner.
Day 2
After breakfast, you’re getting an exclusive look at Tokyo’s culture and local life through the eyes of Black locals. We’ll enjoy lunch and explore some of Tokyo’s top must-sees, as well as hidden gems. You’ll have a free evening to explore or relax.
Day 3
Today we’re giving you a rare and intimate glimpse into Japan’s cultural arts! We’ll hang with real-life sumo wrestlers as they prepare for a tournament followed by a private karate lesson (beginner level, of course) inside a temple. Later we’ll gather for a one-of-a-kind geisha dinner experience!
Day 4
Now’s your chance to discover Tokyo at your own pace. After breakfast, you can explore the city, plan a day trip, or relax at the hotel. Your Trip Host and our local partners can help with suggestions.
Day 5
Let’s trade the bustle of Tokyo for the beauty of Mount Fuji! We’ll hop on a ropeway to scale the mountain and take in Japan’s most iconic and breathtaking scenery. After lunch, we’ll stop by a local onsen (mountain-fed hot spring) to rejuvenate our bodies. While in the area, we’ll stop at a popular shopping district before returning to Tokyo. The evening’s all yours.
Day 6
After breakfast we’re visiting one of Tokyo’s newest and most incredible interactive art experiences. You’ll be immersed in a surreal world of art and technology like never before. The afternoon is yours to explore or relax. Later we’ll gather for an incredible evening in the streets of Tokyo. It’ll be one to remember!
Day 7
After breakfast, you can hang at the hotel or explore until your departure time. Our drivers will take you to the airport. Until next time!
