Below is a sample itinerary. Your final itinerary will be sent closer to your departure date.

 

DAY 1 – Arrivals + Welcome Dinner (March 24): Welcome to South Africa! After landing at Cape Town International Airport, our private drivers will take you to your carefully selected boutique hotel. In the evening, we’ll gather for an exciting and authentic South African welcome dinner! 

 

DAY 2 – Bo-Kapp + Cape Malay Cooking Experience (March 25): Today we’re taking you on a voyage into the food and culture of Cape Town in the iconic Bo-Kaap neighborhood. We’ll explore a few markets before heading to the home of a famous chef where you’ll learn to cook like a local ‘Auntie’. After the cooking experience, you’re free to explore, shop, or relax by the pool. 

 

DAY 3 – Langa Experience (March 26): Today’s about the culture. We’ll visit Langa, Cape Town’s oldest Black township, for an honest and eye-opening look at life for many locals. You’ll see the true face of Langa as we visit different housing and socio-economic areas. You’ll also enjoy a tasty lunch prepared by locals. We’ll finish with a visit with kids from the Happy Feet Youth Project, an incredible program benefiting local children from impoverished communities. 

 

DAY 4 – Robben Island Experience + Unique Birthday Dinner (March 27): After breakfast, we’re diving into South Africa’s difficult past. First, we’ll stop by the District Six Museum for a sobering look at the vibrant multicultural neighborhood that was destroyed under apartheid. Then we’ll hop on the ferry to Robben Island, where President Nelson Mandela spent 18 years in prison, along with thousands of others during their fight to end racism. Later we’ll gather for an exciting and one-of-a-kind dinner experience to celebrate Alice’s 50th birthday! 


DAY 5 – Free Day (March 28)
: Now’s your chance to discover Cape Town at your own pace. Whether you decide to explore more of the colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood, hike Chapman’s Peak, or do absolutely nothing, it’s your choice. Your trip host and our local partners can help with arrangements or suggestions. 

 

DAY 6 – African Safari (March 29): Ready for a real African safari? We’re road-tripping to a socially responsible wildlife reserve where you’ll witness “The Big 5” in their natural habitat. It’s an exciting experience and a great way to see a different side of South Africa. After a filling lunch, we’ll return to Cape Town where the rest of the evening is yours! 

 

DAY 7 – Reset: Yoga + Spa + Sunset Cruise (March 30): Let’s ease into the day with private morning yoga and meditation led by a Black-owned collective. From there, we’ll enjoy spa time with a luxury massage or facial. You’ll have the afternoon free. We’ll finish the day with a private sunset cruise filled with music, drinks, and delicious food! 


DAY 8 – Free Time + Dinner (March 31):
Today’s your last chance to explore, shop, eat, or be lazy by the pool. Your trip host and our local partners can help with arrangements or suggestions. Later in the evening, we’ll gather for dinner at one of Cape Town’s top Black-owned restaurants!


DAY 9 – Stellenbosch Wine Experience + Final Dinner (April 1):
Time to pour up! Let’s head to Stellenbosch, which is South Africa’s most beautiful wine-producing region. We’ll sip the finest wines at a Black-owned winery and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch picnic. Later in the evening, we’ll gather for a very special final dinner at one of Cape Town’s most exclusive spots! 


DAY 10 – Departures (April 2):
It’s our final day together, for now. After breakfast, you can hang out or explore until your departure time. Our private drivers will take drop you at the airport.

Stay

Effortlessly setting the stage for an extraordinary dip, we’re staying at O’Two HotelYou’ll love being minutes from the beach with spectacular views of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head. Nearby attractions such as the V&A Waterfront, one of Cape Town’s most famous shopping and dining destinations, add to O’Two’s wonderful charm. The hotel also features a sparkling rooftop pool, a full bar, upscale gym, a tasty restaurant, and a luxury spa. All rooms are double occupancy with the option to upgrade to a solo room during booking.

Arriving

The best option is to fly into Cape Town International Airport (CPT) where our drivers will pick you up. You should aim to land before 2 PM but no biggie if you need to arrive a little later.

Wellness

Your health and safety have always been our highest priority. We closely monitor all guidelines and communications from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), along with regional authorities. We’ve also enhanced trip safety measures and regularly clean during our trips. If needed, we will communicate any special requirements regarding your trip via email.
